Our story

Curated was created in response to something many people were feeling, but very few felt comfortable talking about...

Loneliness.

Making genuine connections as an adult isn’t always easy. Friends move away, relationships change, people get busy, and before you know it, finding people to do life with can feel harder than ever.

Curated was created to change that.

What started as a fresh take on singles events quickly became something much bigger. We discovered the real magic wasn’t just people meeting a partner. It was strangers becoming friends, friendships turning into support networks and people finally finding a place where they felt like they belonged. That’s when Curated stopped being just events. It became a community.

Every Curated experience is intentionally designed to make connection feel natural. No awkward networking. No pressure. Just genuinely good people, welcoming spaces and shared experiences that make meeting new people easy.

But the impact doesn’t stop with the people who attend.

Every event also champions local businesses, supports independent venues, collaborates with creatives and partners with charities and community organisations to create something bigger than a single event. Every ticket sold creates opportunities for local businesses to grow, important causes to be seen and communities to become stronger.

Today, Curated proudly partners with businesses, charities and government because we believe the strongest communities are built when people come together with a shared purpose. Curated isn’t just about connection. It’s about community.

  • Curated Race Day for a Cause

    SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER @ 1PM

    THOROUGHBRED PARK CANBERRA

    Join us for an afternoon of racing, connection and community as Curated takes over a private VIP marquee at Thoroughbred Park for the Hops & Hooves Festival.

    Enjoy a 3-hour drinks package, platter-style food, DJ and dancing, Fashions on the Field and the AFL Grand Final on the big screen, all while meeting good people in a relaxed, social setting.

    Throughout the day we’ll also be raising funds for MS Australia, with Fashions on the Field entry, raffle and 100 Club proceeds supporting the cause.

    Come with friends, come solo, everyone’s welcome.

  • Curated Halloween Boat Party

    FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER @ 7:00PM

    LOVE BOATS, CANBERRA

    Join us for a Halloween night on the water as Curated takes over Love Boats Canberra for a fun, social evening of music, drinks and connection.

    Enjoy a drink on arrival, DJ, dancing and plenty of Halloween energy as we cruise the lake with a great crowd and a few surprises along the way.

    Dress up if you’re feeling it, with prizes for best dressed and plenty of reasons to get into the theme.

    Come with friends or come solo, everyone’s welcome.
