Our story
Curated was created in response to something many people were feeling, but very few felt comfortable talking about...
Loneliness.
Making genuine connections as an adult isn’t always easy. Friends move away, relationships change, people get busy, and before you know it, finding people to do life with can feel harder than ever.
Curated was created to change that.
What started as a fresh take on singles events quickly became something much bigger. We discovered the real magic wasn’t just people meeting a partner. It was strangers becoming friends, friendships turning into support networks and people finally finding a place where they felt like they belonged. That’s when Curated stopped being just events. It became a community.
Every Curated experience is intentionally designed to make connection feel natural. No awkward networking. No pressure. Just genuinely good people, welcoming spaces and shared experiences that make meeting new people easy.
But the impact doesn’t stop with the people who attend.
Every event also champions local businesses, supports independent venues, collaborates with creatives and partners with charities and community organisations to create something bigger than a single event. Every ticket sold creates opportunities for local businesses to grow, important causes to be seen and communities to become stronger.
Today, Curated proudly partners with businesses, charities and government because we believe the strongest communities are built when people come together with a shared purpose. Curated isn’t just about connection. It’s about community.

Join us for an afternoon of connection, community and purpose as Curated, DonateLife, the NSW Multicultural Communities Association and The Lansdowne Hotel bring people together to celebrate the life-changing impact of organ and tissue donation.
You’ll hear powerful lived experience stories, connect with new people and take part in a relaxed Walk for a Cause through beautiful Victoria Park before heading to The Lansdowne Hotel for a vibrant social session with music, conversation and great people.

Canberra’s activation event for DonateLife Week 2026.Curated’s Gala Night for a Cause is a community event bringing Canberran’s together for an unforgettable evening of connection, impact and giving back. The Gala Night for a Cause is taking place during DonateLife Week to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation and encourage more people to register as donors.
Hear from incredible keynote speakers whose lives have been changed with the gift of organ donation. All proceeds on the night to charity.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, drinks, live entertainment, auctions and meaningful connections.
Dress code is cocktail / semi-formal.
